1. Kinawley GAA Notes: Club Lotto Sunday 07/07/19. Numbers drawn were: 11, 12, 22, 26. No jackpot winner. Lucky Dip Winners: £20 - JJ McManus, Macken; £10 - Breda Roche, Kinawley; £10 - Arlene Anderson, Cornagun; £10 - Cadlan McHugh, Carroo. Next week's jackpot will be £5,900. Supervisors are Aodgan Murphy, PG McManus and Frankie McManus. Please support this important weekly fundraiser. Please remember 10.30pm deadline on Sunday nights.

The senior men drew with Derrygonnelly on Wednesday passed. The next game is home Friday (12th) against Ederney. Reserve men are away to St. Pat's on Sunday at 12 noon. The Under 17 Boys league kicked off with an away game in Lisnaskea on 9th which they narrowly missed out. The 'Gaelic for Mothers and Others' football has started with fantastic numbers turning out. This will normally be held from 8-9 on a Monday evening. Good luck to Senior Ladies who have a league game at home with Brookeborough on 14/07/19 at 11.30am. There are two Intermediate Ladies Championship games in McManus Park on 14th at 2pm and 4pm.

Some gym equipment has been removed without authorisation. This must be returned urgently, otherwise access to the gym will be denied.

We hope to run a number of classes on the fundamentals of the Irish Language and football terms during the next few weeks. We will post details ASAP.

Cairde Brian Boru (Friends of Brian Boru) - This initiative will be launched shortly by Cill Naile Brian Boramha/Naomh Mhuire Cill Laisir CLG. Over the next few weeks, a pamphlet will be delivered to every household in the club area. This will also be available online. The pamphlet will outline the developments that have taken place in the club over the last few years and our proposed future development plans. The details of our members' draw will be explained. The proposal is a donation of £10 a month with monthly cash prizes. All the money raised by this scheme will be used for future developments at our grounds. We are asking all our supporters, both at home and further afield, to read the pamphlet and consider joining Cairde Brian Born to help continue and build on the success that we enjoy as a Club both on and off the field across all codes and to contribute to the improvements of our facilities for the benefit of all the community.

2. On game 10 there is the usual €1,000 to be won. Monday night’s winner was Martina Mc Manus, Ballyconnell which was won on 44 calls! Our Annual Festival will take place from Friday 2nd August to Monday 5th August 2019. Our Golf Classic will take place in Blacklion Golf Club on Saturday 24th August 2019.

Swanlinbar had Bailieboro as visitors on last Sunday and were beaten 5-16 to 1-10. Next Wednesday 10th July we are home to Denn at 8pm and on the following Sunday we play our last game in the league away to Drumlane at 1pm. The club would like to say hard luck to Gearóid and the Cavan Senior Team on their defeat to Tyrone on last Saturday and we will be back.

Congratulations to our player Neil Mc Govern and his wife Aisling on their recent wedding.

The club would like to offer their condolences to the family of the late Noel Maguire Drumersee and late of Dublin, a former player. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.

3. Kinawley Community Centre Seniors Daffodil Club has finished for the summer. Thanks to everyone who has come throughout the year, we look forward to starting again in September. Kinawley Community Hall Association: New draw and loyalty club - This week Kinawley Community Centre have launched their new draw and loyalty club “Supporting Kinawley CC” which will supersede the current Raise the Roof draw in October with the purpose of supporting the longer term sustainability of the hall.  The new draw is limited to 150 members and is open initially to "Raise the Roof" members until the end of July on a first come first served basis. Further information is available on facebook, by contacting Roisin on This email address is being protected from spambots. 7. Keep Free Sunday 28th July Killesher Community family fun day (supported by KCDA) in aid of 5 local cancer charities. Venue: Florencecourt Primary School. Fun for all the family, lots of activities including Homemakers v Heartbreakers football match as well as teams from the local primary schools tug of war to name a few.  More information to come.

8. Be a Summer Star and Join the Reading Adventure at your local library! Collect your reading card and get a reward stamp for every book you read this summer. All children will receive a certificate to celebrate their achievement and everyone who participates has a chance to win Summer Star goodies!
