St Joseph’s Young Priest’s Society wish to thank all who contributed to their annual collection which amounted to €1,400.50.  This will be forwarded to the Head Quarters in Dublin and will be used for the education of students to the priesthood and religious life.  You will be remembered in Masses and prayers for the society.

Apostolic Society annual display will take place in Killesher on Saturday 28th September, St Naile’s Church, Kinawley on Sunday 29th and in Wheathill Sunday 29th Swanlinbar 13th October. Usual collection will be taken up. Your support will be much appreciated.

Blessing of the Graves Kinawley Church and New Cemetery directly after 10am Mass Sunday 3rd November.  There will be Refreshments afterwards in the Community Centre.

Cairde Brian Boru (Friends of Brian Boru) - This initiative has been launched but there is still a chance to enter. You can return forms to any committee member. Well done to the Senior men on a brilliant win over Belcoo to become Intermediate Champions. The Senior ladies championship final vs Newtown will be Saturday 21st at 5pm in Derrygonnelly. Save the date to get as many supporters out as possible. Hard luck to the U13 boys in the Division 1 Final. Well done to the U16 girls who have made the Championship Final which will be played on Wednesday the 18th. Updates will be posted on the club social media. Good luck to the U14 girls who were invited to the Kilmacud Crokes All Ireland U14 7s games this Saturday. Wishing you all a safe and enjoyable experience. We want to wish the Fermanagh Ladies and management luck in their All Ireland Junior Final on Sunday the 15th at 11.45am. We ask as many people to go and show your support with having so many club members on the panel.

We played Bailieboro in the Intermediate Championship on Sunday last and we lost Bailieboro 2-13 Swanlinbar 0-15 Swanlinbar

We play Ramor United on weekend 22/23 September in our last game of the season. The club would like to congratulate Kinawley Gaa on winning the Intermediate Championship on last Saturday and good luck in the Ulster Championship

3. Swanlinbar Development Association: Calling all budding actresses and actors’ speech and drama classes will be starting back on Sunday 15th September in Trivia House, Swanlinbar from 12.30-1.30 for 4-14 year olds and new members are very welcome. 4. Kinawley Community Centre Seniors Daffodil Club – starting this Monday 16th September @ 10.30am in the community centre with fun activities and refreshments each week, start your week off in good company. Everyone is welcome Boccia/New Age Curling starting on Wednesday mornings 25th September 10.30am this is supported by funding from Sport NI/FODC  New Exercise Class -  Circuits Class Thursdays 8pm everyone welcome £5 per session Snow White Family Pantomime in Kinawley Community Centre at 2 pm on Saturday 19th October 2019. This imaginative and enthralling family experience will be performed by renowned M&M Theatrical Productions. 5. Killesher Toddle Tots will commence on Monday 23rd September in Larganess Centre hours 10.15am to 11.45am.  All mums, dads and grandparents are welcome.

6. Benaughlin CCÉ are looking for volunteers to help out our committee and to help with the events leading up to the Fermanagh Fleadh 2020. 7. Slieve Rushen Heritage Group Public Meeting It is proposed to form a new group to preserve and record the heritage of the Slieve Rushen and surrounding areas. The group is eager to record local memories of times past, old customs, traditions and significant sites. A public meeting will be held in St. Mary’s Hall Teemore on 16th September 2019 at 8pm to give further details. Representatives across all communities are warmly invited to attend.

St. Mogue’s College The Save our Schools Committee remain focused and committed to our mandate- to keep both St. Mogue’s College and St. Bricin’s College open and in receipt of the proper funding they deserve. Our honest campaign continues as we explore a number of avenues. Thank you for your support so far.
