Cairde Brian Boru (Friends of Brian Boru) -   A big thanks to each and every one of the many people who have signed up. For anyone who still has a form to be collected, please contact any committee member who will be happy to call.   Well done to the senior ladies who beat Killeeshil in the Ulster quarter final on Saturday. Their ulster semi-final is at home again Saturday 12th at 2pm Shauna O’Neill Shamrocks, Monaghan. Well done to U16 girls won the Division 1 Championship Final on Wednesday beating Knockninny Ladies. Hard luck to the U13 boys defeated in Championship A Final by a strong Irvinestown side. Well done to the U13 girls winning the Division 1 league final on Saturday. Gaelic4girls is starting. Kinawley GFC are hosting training for girls - open to girls in P4, P5, P6 & P7 and are not currently registered with the LGFA. This is a fantastic opportunity for our underage girls to get involved in Ladies Gaelic Football.  The programme is focused on fun and participation, allowing girls an introduction to ladies gaelic football in a non-competitive environment. It will be held in Kinawley Community Hall from Tuesday 8th October from 7-8pm @ £1.50 - cover hall cost

3. The new season for the Aughakillymaude Historical Society starts on Tuesday 8th October at 8.00/ 8.30 pm The Speaker: is Rev. Stanley (retired mini from Bainbridge Co Down). The Subject is the commercial developments and faith in China and Ireland. Rev. Stanley has worked with the Chinese Community in Ireland and China and has visited China a number of times. An interesting night awaits you.  Usual refreshments served. Please keep free Friday 8th November and Saturday 9th November for our book launch “The book of Knockninny” this book was first started in 1653 and finished  in 1718 by Brian Maguire described has a gentleman farmer from Kinawley. This will be a weekend of celebration If you need any further information on any of the events please let me know. We will provide more information on the book launch weekend closer to the time. Cuilcagh Medical Practice, Florencecourt: Flu Vaccine Clinics on 8th  October 2pm to 4.30pm No appointment necessary (Strictly Flu Vaccine only)  Please come for your vaccine if you  are aged 75 years or more or are in one of the at risk groups 64 years & under respiratory, heart, liver or kidney disease, diabetic or immunosuppressed.   All pre-school children aged two years or more on the 1st September 2019.

CUILCAGH MEDICAL PRACTICE DERRYLIN FLU VACCINATION CLINIC  ON WEDNESDAY 9th October 2019 2.00PM – 4.00PM WEDNESDAY 16th October 2019  2:00pm – 3:00pm ALL PATIENTS OF THE PRACTICE AGED 65 OR OVER AND THOSE UNDER 65 WITH ASTHMA, COPD, CHRONIC HEART, KIDNEY OR LIVER DISEASE OR DIABETES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. 

7. Kinawley Community Centre Seniors Daffodil Club – is on @ 10.30am in the community centre with fun activities and refreshments each week, start your week off in good company. 8. Cavan Autism Parents Support (CAPS) collection A heartfelt thanks for your generous support at our recent collection. Total raised was €245 & £127.  Thank you!

9. As Pope Francis has dedicated the month of October to our Missionaries, we would like all our schools to follow the pilgrim trail of St Ninnidh on his return journey from Knockninny to Inishmacsaint from Upper Lough Erne to Lower Lough Erne that was recreated by Lough Erne Hertiage rowers in traditional Lough Erne Cots.  For more information – look up the The Lough Erne Heritage website or ask any local member of the The Lough Heritage Group.
