Covid-19 regulations: The Bishops of Ireland have highly recommended the wearing of face coverings during all liturgical celebrations from 30 August 2020 onwards and have encouraged the ongoing maintenance of 2 metre physical distancing. We understand that some people are exempt from the wearing of face coverings, because of various health considerations as outlined in the 2 jurisdictions.

Senior Men's Championship Quarter Final v Erne Gaels, Saturday 29th August at 3pm in Derrygonnelly.

Well done to our Reserve Men who beat Teemore 0-17 to 1-07 on Monday evening. Next game is at home to Roslea Sunday 6th September at 1pm.

Well done to our U17 boys who beat Newtownbutler 3-12 to 3-09 last Friday evening. Next game is at home to Derrylin on Saturday 5th September at 11am.

U13 Boys v Bellanaleck, Saturday 5th September at 3pm in Kinawley.

Ladies Senior Championship Preliminary Round v Devenish, Sunday 30th August at 11am in Derrygonnelly.

Congratulations to our Minor girls who beat Aghadrumsee 7-12 to 0-05 on Monday evening in the Championship. They now meet Bellanaleck in the Semi Final on Wednesday 2nd September. Time and Venue to be confirmed.

Hard luck to our U11.5 girls who lost out to Knockninny on Monday evening.

Preschool, U6 and U8 coaching continues Thursday 3rd September 6.30-7.30pm.  Can all parents please remember to reconfirm their child's health status on the GAA's Return to Play facility online.

Next Week’s Jackpot will be €11,000. Draw will take place at Bingo on next Monday night. Drive-in-Bingo continues in Charlie’s Yard every Monday at 8.30pm. Total prize fund which can be won on the night is €8,000. Snowball is on game 5 on 45 calls or less for €5,500. On game 10 there is the usual €1,000 to be won. Monday Night we had 2 winners each received €500: Sean Beirne, Ballinamore and John Keenan.

Swanlinbar played Mountnugent on Sunday last in Belturbet in the Junior Championship and final score Swanlinbar 2-10 Mountnugent 0-10. Next Saturday we play Kill in Butlersbridge at 4.30pm. This game will be played behind closed doors as was our game on Sunday last, winning this game would put us in the Quarter Final of the Junior Championship. Our Scenic River Walkway is under construction and we will keep you updated as we make progress.

Kinawley Community Centre is back OPEN for hire  We are delighted to be able to open our doors again, we have had a Deep Clean from AAA Pristine cleaning and we have our santiser stations in place. 5. A new pilgrimage on Lough Derg’s lakeshore: Walk and Pray in the Lough Derg tradition on 16, 18, 22, 26 & 30 August. At times in the 1600s and 1700s when Station Island was closed by the Penal Laws, pilgrims undertook a form of pilgrimage on the lough shore. Walk in their footsteps. Opening of Preschool and After Schools in Swanlinbar: Swanlinbar Development Association is delighted to announce the opening of a new preschool and after school service in Swanlinbar, Claddagh Community Childcare on 31 August 2020.
