Congratulations to our Minor girls who beat Aghadrumsee 7-12 to 0-05 on Monday evening in the Championship. They now meet Bellanaleck in the Semi Final on Wednesday 2nd September. Time and Venue to be confirmed.
Hard luck to our U11.5 girls who lost out to Knockninny on Monday evening.

Drive-in-Bingo continues in Charlie’s Yard every Monday at 8.30pm. Total prize fund which can be won on the night is €8,000. Snowball is on game 5 on 45 calls or less for €5,500. On game 10 there is the usual €1,000 to be won. Monday Night we had 2 winners each received €500: Sean Beirne, Ballinamore and John Keenan.
Swanlinbar played Mountnugent on Sunday last in Belturbet in the Junior Championship and final score Swanlinbar 2-10 Mountnugent 0-10. Next Saturday we play Kill in Butlersbridge at 4.30pm. This game will be played behind closed doors as was our game on Sunday last, winning this game would put us in the Quarter Final of the Junior Championship. 5. A new pilgrimage on Lough Derg’s lakeshore: Walk and Pray in the Lough Derg tradition on 16, 18, 22, 26 & 30 August. At times in the 1600s and 1700s when Station Island was closed by the Penal Laws, pilgrims undertook a form of pilgrimage on the lough shore. Walk in their footsteps.
