New Covid-19 guidelines regarding Religious Services

In ROI all religious services move online. Churches can remain open for private prayer and reflection

In NI all religious services move on line with immediate effect.  Consequently all masses will be celebrated in St Naile’s Chapel Kinawley as indicated below and can be viewed via the webcam MCN Media.  Any anniversary masses can be said in available slots in St Naile’s Church, Kinawley and watched via the webcam. Please telephone Helen on 02866348250 on Wednesdays between 2.30pm and 5.30pm to arrange. Churches can remain open for private prayer and reflection.

Kinawley Chapel Webcam, (can be accessed using MCN Media) the above Masses will be broadcast at the specified times. Should anyone wish to receive, Holy Communion will be available after all Masses.   There was no visitation of the Sick for February.  Again if anyone wishes the priest to come to administer the sacraments it will be done PG. within guidelines.

Congratulations to Senior Ladies Player Joanne Doonan for being shortlisted for the TG4 Junior Player of the Year.

 

Congratulations also to Senior Men's Player Tom Keenan on picking up Fermanagh Hearld's November Sports personality award.

 

Underage Team Zoom Classes, Joanne Doonan Fitness is starting up a weekly fitness class for boys & girls age groups 8-17. This stared Friday 5th, and can be joined by contacting the relevant underage team coach to be added into the team WhatsApp.

 

Due to current public health and GAA regulations both our pitches remain closed. Our walking track remains open. We ask all users of the track to adhere to the signs to follow the one direction when walking/running.  

 

Mylife Every Steps Counts challenge is back. This is open for everyone in the community (over 18) to get involved. The challenge is for the club to total 4000km over 7 weeks to be in with a chance to win O'Neills vouchers. So far are completing an impressive total of 4000km a week! Massive thank you to everyone who has registered so far! If you want to get involved it is not too late, you can register through the 'Mylife by Irish Life' app, joining the Ulster Every Step Counts challenge and search, Kinawley Brian Boru Gaa Club. The challenge concludes March 3rd.

 

2. Swanlinbar Gaa Notes 8th February 2021 Please check our Facebook page for Advice to Clubs and Counties for activities post 31st December 2020 from Gaa Croke Park Due to official government guidelines re Covid-19 we have had to cancel our drive-in Bingo and also our Blotto All will resume when we move to Level 3 Our Blotto will start at €12000.  You can now do your Blotto online at Https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Swanlinbar St Marys/lotto Cut off time is 6pm on Monday for that week’s draw

 

Bingo Total prize fund which can be won at the next Bingo is €9800.  Snowball on game 5 on 45 calls or less for €6,500   Quickie game for the line €100 and for panel €250 on game 10 there is the usual €1000 to be won. 

 

Scenic River Walkway The ESB came last week and moved the pole and now it’s all systems go to get it finished

COVID-19 Support Line for Older People: ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). 8.  The Doctors and staff of Cuilcagh Medical Practice would like to thank Frances Crudden, Cleo Baxter, Jackie and Megan Murphy for their assistance in car parking during the Covid vaccination clinic on Tuesday.   Much appreciated by staff and patients.
