Covid-19 guidelines regarding Religious Services

In ROI all religious services move online. Churches can remain open for private prayer and reflection

In NI all religious services move on line with immediate effect.  Consequently all masses will be celebrated in St Naile’s Chapel Kinawley as indicated below and can be viewed via the webcam MCN Media.  Any anniversary masses can be said in available slots in St Naile’s Church, Kinawley and watched via the webcam. Please telephone Helen on 02866348250 on Wednesdays between 2.30pm and 5.30pm to arrange. Churches can remain open for private prayer and reflection.

Kinawley Chapel Webcam, (can be accessed using MCN Media) the above Masses will be broadcast at the specified times. Should anyone wish to receive, Holy Communion will be available after all Masses.   There was no visitation of the Sick for February.  Again if anyone wishes the priest to come to administer the sacraments it will be done PG. within guidelines.

Last Man Standing, we currently have a last man standing competition for the 10 last premier league games. If you can predict a winning team each week you could be in with a chance of winning £300. you can register through the Klubfunder platform.

Congratulations to Roisin O'Reilly & her other Fermanagh teammates Shauna, Sarah, Aisling and Eimear or being named in TG4 Junior Team of the Championship 2020. Well done to all.

Kinawley Senior Daffodil club are starting up online armchair exercises classes for seniors with Joanne Doonan! These start Monday March 15th at 10 am on Zoom. Kinawley GAA has secured funding to purchase so tablets to facilitate online classes, if you would like a loan of a tablet, please contact Anna McKenna on 07850324252.

Adult Mental Health Workshops, Action Mental Health are hosting an adult mental health workshop on Tuesday 9th at 8pm online. This will be facilitated by an Action mental health team member, and details to join will follow on our facebook page. 

Due to current public health and GAA regulations both our pitches remain closed. Our walking track remains open. We ask all users of the track to adhere to the signs to follow the one direction when walking/running.  

Lidl are running a 'Level the playing field' initiative. If you spend £25 in Lidl, all you need to do is log your receipt number into the Lidl NI website before April 11th. For the club with the most receipts recorded they receive prizes including a new set of jerseys & £1000 of funding. 

Mylife Every Steps Counts challenge finished on Wednesday and over the 6 weeks, the 119 people who registered completed an impressive total of 36,000km. We also had 3 people complete 1000km over the 6 weeks, massive well done to everyone. We finished 6th place in the Ulster challenge. If you want to keep up the great progress you made, there is a new challenge by 'MyLife Spring step Challenge. You can register on the same app for this, and the aim is to complete 10000 steps a day. Good Luck!

Swanlinbar Gaa Notes 1st March 2021 Due to official government guidelines re Covid-19 we have had to cancel our drive-in Bingo and also our Blotto All will resume when we move to Level 3 Our Blotto will start at €12000. Bingo  Total prize fund which can be won at the next Bingo is €9800. Snowball on game 5 on 45 calls or less for €6,500  Quickie game for the line €100 and for panel €250  On game 10 there is the usual €1000 to be won. 

Scenic River Walkway Work is continuing on our Scenic River Walkway  and we hope to have it finished before the end of March

Gaa Insurance Following February’s Cavan County Board Gaa meeting it was advised that there is no insurance cover for any type of training on Gaa Grounds. We will update you when we know more.

3. COVID-19 Support Line for Older People: ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance where necessary. The support line is open seven days a week, 8am - 8pm by calling 0818 222 024,
